When I was actively investigating reports of paranormal activity, and someone would tell me about a “haunting,” the first thing I asked them was how long along this alleged occurrence took place. It wasn’t unusual to hear. “Oh, I don’t know, about 6 years ago, I guess.” Or, I would ask, “Do you still live in the house where these things took place?” “No,” was the typical answer. I would quickly lose interest because the cases were cold. I was interested in hearing stories that happened more like 6 days before, not 6 years. Better still, 6 hours before.
The paranormal activity you’re about to read about is happening in now. I know, because I live in the home it’s happening in.
I’m writing this blog to keep a “journal” of the activity. I’m writing this in my office, which Cheryl refers to as the “Teton” room, because of all of the pictures in it of the Grand Teton mountains. I’m mentioning this because last week I was online and I kept seeing a movement out of the corner of my eye. It was early in the morning, between 5 and 5:30 am.
As I said, I kept seeing something out of the corner of my eye but when I would look it would be gone. Finally, I just kept watching to see if I saw anything. Sure enough, I saw a woman walk by the office in my living room. I thought it was my girlfriend Cheryl, but I realized that this woman was wearing a long white dress and Cheryl doesn’t own one. So I got up and went to our bedroom where Cheryl was still in bed. I told her what I saw, and to be honest, she wasn’t surprised. She’s been seeing and hearing things herself.
Last week she told me she was taking a shower when she noticed a “shadow” standing in front of the shower behind her out of the corner of her eye. She looked and it was there long enough for her to see it walk into our bedroom. Thinking it was me she called out my name. When I didn’t answer she finished taking her shower, toweled off and came looking for me. I was in the family room fast asleep on the sofa. She woke me and told me what happened. I can assure you it wasn’t me.
Last night, I was brushing my teeth in the same bathroom she saw the “man” in. I had the light on in the bathroom and it was off in our bedroom. I put toothpaste on my toothbrush, put the tube down and looked up in time to see someone’s reflection in the mirror, wearing a hat, walking behind me, in front of the towels, into the walk-in closet just off of our bathroom. By the way, the walk in closet is directly across from our shower. I took two steps back and verified that the door to the closet was closed.
When I was done I walked out to the family room where Cheryl was watching television and told her what I just saw. She told me I described the same thing she saw last week in the shower. Because of the hat, I named the ghost, “Zorro.” I half expected it to cover it’s face with a cape to be honest with you. That’s how I came up with the name.
When Cheryl told me it was the same thing she saw, I decided to write this blog. There have been other incidents which I’ll mention if similar things happen, or if it simply makes sense to mention them.
As I mentioned before, this activity is happening typically on a daily basis. I’m no longer investigating reports except on occasion, and I’m seriously considering stopping that altogether. I don’t have a lot of the equipment I used to have, but I have an idea of why the activity is occurring.
I’ll share my thoughts as to the origin of the activity in future posts.

PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION
TEAM OF NEVADA
Hi Keith,
Thanks for the comment! Just took a look at your website, and I especially appreciated the idea that the group has a “sensitive” on staff. When I had “Rocky Mountain Ghost Hunters Alliance,” we not only used the typical equipment, but I also had a staff of psychics on board. I believed that since “hauntings” are typically human experiences, I wanted humans to verify the reports, and I used equipment to determine what might be the environmental and natural explanations for the activity.
Your future comments, thoughts and questions are more than welcome!
